Where will my trial take place?

If you are centrally located within San Diego we provide on location hair and makeup trials at your home or hotel. If you are coming in from out of town, we will schedule your trial at our beautiful shared studio space in La Jolla. Please see the map on our Contact page for location information. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to your trial.

When should I schedule my trial?

We typically leave this up to you and what you feel most comfortable with. We have the most flexibility and availability in our slow season which is November - February. If you have a flexible schedule then it is most beneficial to book your trial within a month or two of your wedding. We also encourage booking your trial with a dress fitting, bridal shower, photoshoot, rehearsal dinner or other event when possible. We book our trials mid-week as we are booked with weddings over the weekends.

 

Do you come on site the day of my event?

Yes, we travel to your getting ready location. If your location is further than 15 miles of our studio zip 92109, travel rates will apply. If there are multiple locations requested, fees will also apply. Please inquire for more information on your specific location(s).

Do I need to put a deposit down to hold my date?

Yes, a deposit of $250 and a completed contract are required to secure your date. Your deposit will be applied to your final wedding day balance. Please keep in mind that we receive several inquires a day, and we reserve dates based on a first come first serve basis. Your date is not secure until your deposit has been received.

 

Is there a minimum amount of services required to book?

Yes. When booking both hair and makeup, we have a minimum of 3 others for each service.**

**Due to COVID 19 and the need for smaller weddings and elopements we are making exceptions to this minimum if we have the availability. Please reach out as we would love to be part of your day!

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, cash or check. Credit cards are welcome with a 4% fee. 

 

Will you stay on site for touchups?

We schedule 30 minutes at the end of services for touchups. If you would like us to stay on site longer there is a $150 per artist per hour fee.

Can you accommodate larger parties?

Absolutely! We can accommodate as many services as needed. In the event that you need us to hire in our partnered artists, there is a $175 charge for one additional artist and $350 for two additional artists. This is a great option to have a later start time and allow for breakfast, yoga, sleeping in, etc!

 

What brands of makeup do you use?

Our makeup has a reputation of lasting all day with only a lip color/gloss touch up as well as blot papers for shine. We are experienced with many makeup lines and use a variety of products from MAC, Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay, Dior, It Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, and Laura Mercier as well as a few industry products that are used in TV/Film. 

Do you offer Airbrush?

We have worked with traditional airbrush in the past. However, with our experience, find that there are many other ways to achieve a long lasting, flawless finish to your skin. With the use of primers, foundations and makeup sealers you can get a precise and beautiful result that is long lasting. 

 

I'm interested in hair extensions, do you work with them?

Yes, we are very experienced in working with hair extensions. If you are unsure what to order please don’t hesitate to ask and we will provide or suggest the right kind for your desired look. If you are looking to purchase some for your wedding day, we would be happy to give you a recommendation.
